Change socks frequently - if they are damp - your feet freeze. There are strap on cleats that fit over your shoes or boots for about $20. They sell hand and foot warmers - in hunting section at stores. These are air activated - one time use - but last for about 6 hours. I only use them when I will be out for a long, long time and it is REALLY cold. You stick them on the bottom of your socks - have never used the hand ones - so don't know. Mittens keep you warmer than gloves - fingers are together. Watch farm supply stores and used clothing stores - the stuff made for farmers and outside contructions guys is the BEST - and very easy to move in.Vickiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05452333714845476967noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2668796948874901630.post-7186588556866707022007-01-29T19:00:00.000-07:002007-01-29T19:00:00.000-07:00Wow! What determination you have to get outside and walk in -8 degree weather (is that F or C?).

I complain about the cold between the car and the gym and it is in the 30s (F) here.Charityhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00484038336468006126noreply@blogger.com
