Perspective

9/11. My agonies about moving are relative. I am glad to be alive. I am glad my loved ones are alive. This is the day that the Lord hath made and I will rejoice and be glad in it.

Take care of yourselves. Love Bea

P.S. Thanx Lori and Cindy for moving tips. Renting dumpster is genius. Anyone else have any tips? I'll take them.

One thing I always did when I moved is have one box of my most current bills, checks, etc. along with stuff I would need immediately. That would be next to me in the car. I might not use it right away but at least I knew where the paperwork for the bills were and I wouldn't forget to pay them.

You probably already know the three box (bag) rule on going through things. One box each for keep, toss and charity. My rule was if I couldn't decide whether to keep or toss, I leaned towards tossing.

Cindy, the idea of renting a dumpster is a great idea! BFF said a long time ago I should do that when I go through my parents' stuff.

Good luck, Bea with the move. I hope you have beautiful, cool weather to move.

renting a small roll-off box (20 yard) is going to cost you about $200 by the time you pay for the box, daily fee and landfill charge.
It is definitly worth it if you have a LOT of stuff to throw.
But otherwise, see if someone can loan a pickup for a dump run.
Just a thought.
Good Luck, Carol
